Terms of sale
These terms apply to every purchase of a guide on plumber-comparator.com. By paying, you accept them.
1. Seller
LACANGEL GROUP, SAS (simplified joint-stock company), France — SIREN 995 268 018, VAT FR21995268018, President Clément Lacaille. Registered office: 1 rue Marguerin, 75014 Paris, France. 2. What we sell
Digital guides read online: California Homeowner Plumbing Pack ($59), California Plumbing Price Book 2026 ($12), Water Heater Replacement Kit for California Homes ($9). Each sales page shows the table of contents, the introduction and the first chapter before you buy. The guides are general information for California homeowners. They are not quotes, legal advice or a substitute for a licensed contractor, your building department or the official texts they cite.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are in US dollars and are the total you pay: nothing is added at checkout. Payment is made once, by card, on Stripe's secure payment page; we never see your card number. The payment page shows the name of our Stripe account, and the charge appears on your statement with the reference "PLUMBERCOMP". Because the seller is based in France, your bank may add a foreign transaction fee. A receipt is sent by email.
4. Access
After payment you are taken straight to your guide. Bookmark that page: it remains available and always shows the latest version of the guide. If you lose it, write to us from the email address used to pay and we send the link again.
1-click buying. When you pay for a first guide, the card you use is kept by Stripe (never by us), as the payment page says, so that your next guide on plumber-comparator.com can be bought in one click. The "Buy in 1 click" button shows the price and the card (brand and last four digits); clicking it places the order and charges that card right away, on the same terms as above (instant access, 14-day refund). You can ask us at any time to delete the saved card at admin@tech-bharat.com.
5. Refunds
If a guide does not help you, write to admin@tech-bharat.com within 14 days of your purchase, from the email used to pay or with your receipt. We refund the full price to the card you used, without asking why; banks usually show it within 5 to 10 business days. For buyers resident in the European Union: by asking for immediate access you request performance before the end of the statutory withdrawal period, which then ends when access begins; the 14-day refund above still applies.
6. Use of the guides
The guides are for your personal use. You may print them and share an extract with a link to this site; please do not republish them in full.
7. Liability
We check every price range and rule against the sources named in the guides, and we date each update. Laws, codes and prices change, and your job depends on your home: always confirm with a licensed contractor and your building department. Our liability for any order is limited to the price you paid, except where the law does not allow such a limit.
8. Complaints and disputes
Write to us first at admin@tech-bharat.com: we answer every message. Buyers resident in the European Union may then refer the dispute, free of charge, to the consumer mediator CM2C, 49 rue de Ponthieu, 75008 Paris, France (cm2c.net). These terms are governed by French law, without depriving you of the protection given by the mandatory consumer rules of the place where you live.
