Privacy policy

We collect the information you submit in the quote form (name, phone, email, ZIP, service, urgency, job description) plus basic technical data (page, referrer, campaign parameters, hashed IP), and the exact wording and date of the consent you gave.

How we use it: matching with partner plumbers

Your information is used for one purpose: connecting you with partner licensed plumbing contractors able to quote your job. When you tick the separate consent box (never pre-checked), your request and contact details are shared with up to three partner licensed plumbing contractors serving your area, who may contact you about it by phone call, text message or email, including by automated means. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Partners may pay us for passing on requests; each is responsible for its own handling of your information. We do not sell your details for unrelated marketing. To withdraw consent, reply STOP to a text or email admin@tech-bharat.com: we stop sharing your request and tell the partners who received it.

Free guides & email tips

If you request one of our free guides or checklists, we collect your email address together with the exact consent wording you agreed to, the date and time, the page you signed up on and a salted hash of your IP address (never the IP itself). This data is stored in our secure subscriber database. We use it to give you access to the requested content and — only because you ticked the consent box — to send you occasional plumbing cost tips and offers by email. Every such email includes a working unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time by using that link or emailing admin@tech-bharat.com. We never sell or share this email list with third parties. Unsubscribing stops the emails; you may additionally request full deletion of your data.

Retention & rights

Quote-request data is retained for up to 24 months (and never more than 3 years without a new request from you); guide/newsletter subscription data is retained until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. California residents may request access to or deletion of their personal information under the CCPA — and EU residents under the GDPR — by emailing admin@tech-bharat.com.

Cookies and analytics (Google Analytics 4)

This site does not use advertising cookies. Campaign parameters (UTM) present in the URL are stored with your request for attribution.

• Tool: Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland).
• Purpose: measuring visits and sales of our paid guides (pages viewed, clicks to checkout, purchases) to improve the site.
• Only with your consent: nothing is loaded or stored until you click “Accept” in the banner; “Decline” is just as easy and changes nothing in how the site works.
• Data: pages viewed, clicks on offers, purchases (product, amount), device and browser type. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. Google's analytics cookies are kept for up to 13 months.
• How long your choice is kept: 6 months, in your browser; after that the banner asks again.
• Withdraw: at any time with the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of every page.

1-click buying cookie

After you buy a guide, your access page sets one cookie named “fx1c”. It holds only a signed Stripe customer identifier, no card data and nothing else about you. Its only purpose is to recognize a returning buyer and offer 1-click buying with the card that Stripe kept at your first payment (as stated on the payment page). It lasts 13 months and is never used for analytics or advertising. You can delete it in your browser, and ask us at any time at admin@tech-bharat.com to delete the saved card at Stripe.
